Jonah est une fille un peu bizarre. Elle a sa hanche droite complètement déformé ce qui lui donne une démarche de canard boiteux.
Nathan est une gosse de riche avec des parents exigeants qui ne laissent rien passer. Chez lui, il n'y a pas de place pour sa passion qu'est le basket, qui, pour sa famille ne représente aucun avenir.
Le jour où Nathan se moque de Jonah en publique, celle-ci craque et s'enferme dans les toilettes. Le jeune basketteur va vite regretter et va vouloir aider Jonah à avoir une vie meilleure.
Tout deux paraissent différents... mais au final tellement semblables.
