He had dragged me behind a cabinet and we looked between the books as she stared for a moment more at where we had just stood. "Must be Potter and his trouble-making friends," she muttered, "always messing with me... little mischiefs." Book 1 - year 1 and 2 of a series about the marauders from Lily Evans POV. Lily Evans gets a second change in life to change her past and therefor the future of all those around her. The 22-year year old woman trapped in the body of her past self starts her first year at Hogwarts, but after a couple of months her memories of her past self start to fade. She gets more and more accustomed to her new life and soon forgets that she ever fell in love with James Potter or that her best friend will become a Death Eater. This story will take place during the marauders time at Hogwarts, all seven years and a couple years after, during the war. But even before I could see them, I felt the acidity rising in my throat. I braced my hand against a boulder and took a deep breath to keep it down. Why was I so incredibly nauseous? Probably because of the rotting smell of the decaying corpses, said the little voice in the back of my mind. Or because of the liquor that wanted to rise in my throat.
