I'm Mia Barone and this if you choose to believe it this is my story.

Ever since I can remember I've felt like I'm being watched, like I'm being stalked by someone or something. I'm special and I can do things that no one else can do, and I think that's part of the reason she's after me, but I think there's more to it. My mother knows something but won't tell me, she says the only way I can be safe is if I hide and blend in. But it's not working she always finds me. I don't know what she wants from me but she's not going to get it. Not now, not ever. I'm going to fight and she'll be sorry she ever messed with me. I'll show her exactly what I'm capable of.

Percy Jackson is dead. That must be hard for you to hear, huh? After all, you knew him better than I did. Maybe this story would have gone a lot differently if he was around. But he wasn't. It's the year 2030. After all the mythical wars and battles the universe was beginning to calm down. But Percy Jackson is dead now, so there is no one left to keep it on order As a demigod life is kind of hard. Killing weird stuff that want to kill you for the fun if it, or because they feel slightly peckish? To that I say, such is life. My name is Xylee Cross; Daughter of Poseidon. I'm now his only demigod child. The expectations for me are pretty high being the half sister of THE Percy Jackson. Ah, yes, another cliche story about a daughter of Poseidon. You may ask "Xylee, why can't you be original?". Well, my birth had nothing to do with originality. It had to do with the fact that sometimes gods have children, and those children end up with a lot of work, many messes to clean and a lot of mistakes that probably won't be dealt with the easy way. Sounds fun, right? This is the one where I receive a prophesy that leads to a quest. That quest leads to a lot of confusion and irritation, but in the long run it leads to the world being saved. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, so most of the characters are mine. This idea of this book was inspired by the amazing Rick Riordan. Please don't take this idea or this story or I swear I will hurt you.

Will they be able to survive it all, or will they simply become another Greek Tragedy? Or when, Icarus falls in love with the Sun, for the final time. *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Percy Jackson x FemOC (The Lighting Thief - The Last Olympian) (Book 1 of 3 in the Divine Series) Started: 12/24/2023 Ended: In Progress *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Icaria Kane's body was exhausted. She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.
