Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? (None of this story is edited... so please bear with me... and the ending is crappy, sorry bout that)

Two people live in two different worlds. One lives in a humble city that surrounds a tall artificial mountain. The other lives in a perfect city atop that mountain. From a young age, they have been taught that the other side was dangerous. For a young man, he was told they were synthetic monsters on top of the mountain. For a young woman, she was told dangerous beasts surrounded the mountain. When their paths cross, they will find that they both call themselves human, and they will learn to get along, even if their worlds reject them for it.

When the six kids were taken, they were just infants. But when the needles are sterilized, they know something bad was about to happen. Years later, their powers were fully mastered, and the thoughts of escaping creeped into their minds. Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.

Think you have it rough? Try coming home from school and finding out your father is dead, your foster sister and niece are interplanetary aliens, and so are you. So, it explains why you can change shape and talk to animals, but so can your twin brother, a feline who can fly, who you didn't know you had until he comes to take you to your birth planet so you can be heroes. Then find out that you are actually 100 years old, not 18, and the subject of an even older prophesy. Takes the "Merry" right out of Christmas break. So thinks Nikki Jessop, high school zero, who reluctantly turns into a hero of the Two Planets.

Ahh, Earth the wonderful planet where all stories begin,...... well most stories anyway. She also has a surprise when she wakes up.
