Gifted

A mysterious gift arrives on a dying woman's porch. It's a simple box with no indication of where it came from. When she tears off the wrapper she finds a small poultice and nothing more. The sweet scents of Spring grass and ocean breezes greet her. When next she visits her physician her Cancer has dissipated as though it was never there. She calls her family and tells them the great news and when they come to see her she shows them the satchel of herbs. Their ailments disappear, a sniffle, arthritis, and a broken arm is healed. It's a miracle. However, something does not come from nothing.
