About three months into the outbreak of walkers, a young wounded girl stumbles upon an old motel. With an arrow in her back, and knowledge of the bandits that will fight to get supplies, who would kill such a valuable person? Even though the people living in the motel let her live there, no one said she was welcomed. Her only goal is to help people and find her sister. After realizing the truth of this new world, can she carry on surviving with these strangers? When the strangers need to relocate, how will this young girl part from the area that her sister may be in? When Luna turns 16 she is to cross to this world to not return until she decides to have kids of her own.
