At the age of 12 Markus Ryan a citizen of Moons Peak found a cave on the outside of town. He decided to look at what's inside and he found a journal next to a skeleton and a sword known as "The Void Blade". He picked up both the sword and Journal, but before he could read a single page, a crazy witch put a curse on him. The mark covering his torso is his curse mark. Markus can only exist in the dead of night. While a Shadow Beast by the name of Onchi living inside his soul can only exist in the morning
