Kaylee Ballard used to be the girl everyone was friends with, the one to make you happy when your sad. But, that is until she uncovers a horrifying secret, which nearly kills her with fright. Now, she locks herself in her room, fearing they will come after her.
When school starts, she trys her best to fit in like she used to, but nothing is the same. She sees them everywhere. She sees the creatures who invaded her home town and are pretending to be normal human beings. But, what if they already know of her knowledge of them? What if they can toy with her feelings?
