Princess Sofia was up late last night, as her mind was whirling about what she had heard come out of the King, or her father's mouth. Someone had stolen some battle plans, and the Kings magical sword that had been passed down, Son to Son, from King Arthur himself. Sofia is warned to stay out of the situation, but her curiosity is too strong, and she ends up dragging her maid, Eralyn, into the whole scheme to help her solve the case. But will the Princess and her maid be able to solve the case without being caught by her parents?
This story is a short story, and was written with a friend of mine. The story is written in several different types of writing (i.e. play, diary, 1rst person and 3rd person), and I didn't want to mess with the writing so I kept the styles. Please vote and comment! Hot water was poured on him from all the sides, the boy hissed and his head was tonsured. Queen's second son, Prince Evandros took the most feared weapon, the spiked whip in his hand with an evil grin. "Please have a trial before punishing him, Uncle Evan" a female voice pleaded. "Princess Mia! Quiet!!" Evandros gave a menacing look at his sister's daughter. He dipped the whip in saline water and took the swish to strike him when a thunderous voice of Queen mother roared, "Dare.not.touch.the. Crown.Prince.of.our.Kingdom" Everyone was dumbfound at Queen's shocking revelation. "Mother, you are mistaken, he has robbed our Royal treasure. The lost Diadem has been found" He proudly showed the immaculate diamond Diadem that dazzled in the sunlight, but she shoved his hand away and approached the boy, caressed his cheeks ever so lightly, fearing that he would disappear into thin air with brimming tears, "My treasure has been found!!" *How can a thief be the crown Prince? *Given the Queen's wit and valour, can anyone fool her? *Without any interrogation, how did she declare that he is the crown Prince? *If so, who is the real thief that had stolen the Diadem? Meanwhile, Sofia and and her pet rabbit, Clover, are taking a trip through the peaceful countryside when they are suddenly chased through an extremely dark forest by a tall, unknown, hooded assailant. What will happen when she informs her family about the incident? How will the family react when the King and Ethan turn on each other for the second time? And truly who is the mysterious figure dwelling in the dark? All shall be told from within.
