The Devil made a bet with Heaven. The result...unexpected.

To Daimon the best things in life never came naturally. He always had to fight for them. Firstly, because of his name, secondly, because of his wings, and thirdly, because his father thought him weak. Not that Malachi ever said it -all things considered Daimon's father was just as good at being a parent as he was at ruling Heaven- but he just seemed to not trust his son to be able to protect himself. Just because Daimon had a Gift of intellect instead of something more physical did not mean he was helpless. Wily ways took one further than his father knew and Dai had decided a long time ago that the more he was pressed down the higher he'd rise. ...Or maybe fall deeper than anyone would dare to follow.

Neka'el was the son of the Devil and he was very good at it. It wasn't his bad boy looks or lazy smirks that made everyone fall at his feet or even his reputation as the biggest heartbreaker in the whole kingdom. It was the fact that he sincerely wanted it. When the day would come that Kael became the Devil, Hell would rise and Heaven would fall and no one would be able to stop him, not over his dead body.

Well, sometimes love kills. Maybe he should've sworn on something else.

______________________

This story is about angels and demons, but the christian God does not exist in this universe! They're only plain old races of supernatural creatures. Also be warned, this book is a gay romance! Homophobes and religious fanatics steer clear, I won't be held responsible for any possible trauma this story inflicts on ignorants.

Story rating will probably change to mature later on.
