My mother taught me many things over the course of my life. How to make perfect scrambled eggs, how to drive, how many drinks you can mix vodka in. She taught me everything she knew about music and the violin. She taught me how to do laundry and write checks. She taught me to make wishes in the silence between songs. She taught me to appreciate everyone and everything in my life.
One thing she didn't teach me?
How to live without her.
