❝It's official. I'm dating an asshole of a YouTube star.❞

Natalie Carson couldn't believe her eyes when she realized that she'd spilled her coffee on one of her favorite YouTube stars, Patrick Neili. But what she couldn't believe more, was that the image of the two bumping into one another went viral. Within mere seconds, every fan-girl wanted to know who she was, and what she was doing with their favorite YouTuber.

That very image put Patrick on the map. With his subscribers on the rise, an idea came to mind. All Patrick needed to do to stay in the public eye, was to date the girl from the coffee shop.

Upon finding Natalie again, he gives her a deal: He'll help her become a notable journalist, if she dates him for six months, only to break his heart for everyone to see.

Natalie was more than happy to go along with his little plan, at least, until she found out his good-boy act was just that, an act. Now all she has to do is pretend to be madly in love with her now least favorite YouTuber. How hard could that be?

You know the old saying fake it til you make it? Well my best friend took that a little too seriously. Caitlyn came up with a crazy scheme to help me finally get the guy I had been crushing on for three years. Her plan was a little unorthodox to say the least. She decided that her and her boyfriend Colton should stage a break up so I could pretend to date him for a month. He was the quarterback of the football team and the most popular guy in school. She said dating him would make the guys at our school finally stop seeing me as a shy, undateable nerd. She said I would have my pick of any guy after that, including my crush Takashi. It was the most ridiculous plan I had ever heard of. There was no way anyone would actually believe me and Colton were dating. He was the quarterback of the football team. It would have probably been easier to convince the whole school that I was dating the President. The problem was, I knew she was right. It was probably the only way I could get Takashi (my crush) to see me as girlfriend material and I wanted that more than anything in the world. Plus, Caitlyn's crazy schemes usually worked and I was desperate, so I reluctantly agreed to it. The weirdest part of the whole thing was, her boyfriend Colton used to be my best friend before him and her started dating and she gradually took his place as my best friend. That was four years ago and him and I weren't near as close as we used to be. Now he was just my best friend's boyfriend. CONTENT WARNING: Very mature themes & sexual content - 18+ only! He's 31 and I'm 22. There's no way that he'll ever like me, right? I'm too young or too inexperienced. How could I have run into my favorite YouTuber in the middle of the night at my favorite cafe? I stand from my seat and walk over timidly. I rest my hand on his table and he looks up to me and kind of has this half smile. "I'm sorry but I had to ask. Are you RadicalBradical?" I feel the blush assault my face and want to hide away. He smiles and shakes his head. "Yeah but offline people just call me Brad." He holds his hand out to me and I shake it, feeling sparks, or probably not. "I'm Natalie and a huge fan." I smile and our eyes meet. I bring my hand back to the table and he looks me over. "How did you get into my channel? My demographic isn't filled with women your age." He asks and I take a deep breath. We'll be here all night if he wants that story. "It's kind of a long, sad story. Don't think you'd want to hear it." I bring my hand up to my face to tuck my hair behind my ears. He presses his lips together and sighs. "How bout I go grab us some more coffee and you can tell me about it." He stands and grabs my cup from me, our hands touching briefly. He's so close to me. I can smell his cologne. I nod, unable to find the words to speak to him. "Cool, I'll be back in a minute." He smiles and walks away. I sit in the booth and look out of the window at the rain coming down.
