"No ones knows when the Circus is coming, how it gets there and for how long it stays. Sometimes it's there for months and other times it's barely there for an hour. The only thing we really know is, for each show they put on, one person from our community dissappears as payment."

Lily is a normal sixteen year old girl who lives off the coast of Sacury, California, where she loves Theatre and her friends, even though she lives in an orphanage. But when mysterious people randomly start showing up, telling her that her destiny is away from California and away from human life, she goes with them to find what she really is. He gets a new woman every week, and has never had a relationship past one night stands. Unlike the other 95% of girls at Eastwood High, she gets good grades, plans on going to a decent college, and finding that one man to complete her life. Her parents have a wonderful and loving marriage and show no signs of slowing down as they both work as Eastwoods' most prestigious lawyers. Her life is perfect, in her eyes. 18 November, 2024 The 10K Nanowrimo i wish I woulda submitted when I was 14. Told in 4 parts, this is an unedited, first draft literary story bordering on poetic style prose. There are elements of psychological, general, teen, and horror. This isn't a cautionary tale, it's just a tale. Some that one can relate to. It's hard to trust people, especially the ones who make you feel really good really fast. But you must have discernment in this life or there'll be consequences. M is your Northern California bred protagonist who has a plethora of friends sandwiched in her daily routine. She's just like you, she works, she drinks after work, she goes home. But then there's a guy....there's always a guy isn't there? This is how she and her small universe copes.Completa

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me. I would have gotten off of him but I realize that he wasn't moving to get away from me. No, He was moving his lips against mine." °°°°° Aiden Moore isn't extraordinary. He has average looks, he is OK with sports, and his only strong point is that he is smart (although that doesn't mean much to his fellow classmates). And, of course, his virgin ass has never had a girlfriend, let alone a crush. It seemed as if he would never find someone. That was until he met her, Scarlett Hale. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. Once Aiden gets rid of her boyfriend, Aaron Tyler. The most annoying guy you will ever meet, Aiden gags just thinking about him. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? The Gray
My 2008 NANOWRIMO project: The Gray is a 'low' fantasy novel in spite of dragons and magic and horror. Giant spells won't be saving the day, and there's no mighty magic swords, in fact most spells aren't even out there in your face, they're implied. The Gray is set in a lone human city in a world where being human is stranger and and less common than being an elf, or almost anything else. Their community is Isolated, and protected by a a group of trained fighters and scouts with specific roles, who give up their own names when they take on The Gray. Walker, one of the scouts of The Gray, accidentally stumbles across signs that their way of life, and maybe even the world, may be threatened, and is quickly forced to face the fact that trying to save his home and people may require loosing them forever.Completa
