Poetry is a wonderful idea for people to express how they feel at a particular time. Even if the poem has nothing to do with them it still opens them up to a world of colour. We are enlighten as readers to the world beyond us and the lives and wonders of the people and things surrounding us.
In this wattpad book I will be sharing my experience with poetry. There is a variety of genres, some sad and some happy. Some of these poems express a lot about me as a person so by reading this you may understand me a bit more.

Have you ever encountered mad love? No, not the kind with butterflies in your belly and a sweet thrill, or even the relationship between two loving hearts. This love is different - it's a poison, it destroys life. What should you do if the past does not let go? Where can you hide from feelings bordering on mental illness? How do you escape a man who has become your shadow? No way... It's impossible to escape. It's impossible to hide. Living with it is unbearable. THE BAD GIRL'S BOY
Promiscuity is addictive. It's so safe. You are not at risk of getting hurt, physically maybe , But emotionally ? No And the emotional pain is by far the worst. I know this because I've experienced both. Physical pain, from my alcoholic father, sexual abuse from his friends. It hurt, it really did. I have scars to show. But let me tell you, the worst type of hurt is the emotional pain. That pain you get when after years of building a wall around yourself, you FINALLY let someone in. You let that one special person in. You bring down your walls. You give your heart. You let him hold your heart in his palms even though you know the risks. You have so many dreams and fantasies about being with this person forever. And he leads you on. It feels good But then he turns around and crushes your heart. He squeezes the life out of it and you feel pain that you never thought was humanly possible. You feel so much pain you can't breathe. And then , you become cold. You stop feeling. You have no heart anymore. You become heartless, promiscuous, bad, really bad. Yes , that happened to me. Ben did that to me. It hurt. It hurt too much. But now I'm safe . Because I'm the bad girl. The one who doesn't have a heart left to be broken.Complete

Not good for you
"This was just supposed to be summer fun. That was what we agreed on." I tried to talk to him as he was vigorously shaking his head, tearing his gaze away from me. "You were never just a summer fun to me." He stared into my eyes and I felt exposed because I might have developed some feelings for him that I've never wanted to face. Heddy Lopez has just barely graduated and is trying to find the purpose of her life when her friends take her away for the summer before they go on separate ways. Little did she know that an old crush and complicated relationships would cross her way again making her last high school summer completely different than she'd expected it to be.
