Enemies
So forbidden it's borderline illegal. It feels illegal in a town like this. It was just sex. Ridiculous, I hate you sex with the one guy in school I had no business being with. But the line between love and hate blurs easily. And in a town like this, where secrets are hard to keep, we're playing with fire. Quitting him doesn't work, especially when he wants me even worse than I want him. Despite how much he hates me, despite that we were destined to hate each other. The only sure way to keep a secret is to be the only one who knows it. But this secret already involves two. And it's bound to get out and wreak havoc on my life and my plans for escape. The only questions that will remain are- was he worth it and will we survive the fall out?Concluída

Vital
Featured on @WattpadPoetry's reading list Stygian Skies and @CoffeeCommunity's Cappuccino reading list. A poetry book that trembles with fear, explodes with rage, and loves with everything it has. It tries to make sense of the past and explores trauma head on in an unfiltered way that leaves no room for denial. It's a documentation of my entire life, moments both sun kissed and dark. A book written with the new understanding that expressing how you feel is absolutely vital. Most of my poems come from personal experience and some topics may be sensitive to some readers. Some themes included consist of toxic household environments, the loss of loved ones, abusive relationships, suicidal thoughts and actions, and struggling with mental illness.Concluída
THE BAD GIRL'S BOY
Promiscuity is addictive. It's so safe. You are not at risk of getting hurt, physically maybe , But emotionally ? No And the emotional pain is by far the worst. I know this because I've experienced both. Physical pain, from my alcoholic father, sexual abuse from his friends. It hurt, it really did. I have scars to show. But let me tell you, the worst type of hurt is the emotional pain. That pain you get when after years of building a wall around yourself, you FINALLY let someone in. You let that one special person in. You bring down your walls. You give your heart. You let him hold your heart in his palms even though you know the risks. You have so many dreams and fantasies about being with this person forever. And he leads you on. It feels good But then he turns around and crushes your heart. He squeezes the life out of it and you feel pain that you never thought was humanly possible. You feel so much pain you can't breathe. And then , you become cold. You stop feeling. You have no heart anymore. You become heartless, promiscuous, bad, really bad. Yes , that happened to me. Ben did that to me. It hurt. It hurt too much. But now I'm safe . Because I'm the bad girl. The one who doesn't have a heart left to be broken.Concluída

The Art of Starting Over
Have you ever sunk so low that you actually felt relieved, knowing that it couldn't possibly get any worse? Well, I have... Many times. I lost everything. My family, my future, my home... I swore I would never depend on anyone ever again. And he swore nothing will ever tie him down. He told me he has ghosts. I told him I have fears. We agreed. We were eachother's impending death. And yet I fell for him, slowly and deeply, until I didn't know how to be without him. And he fed on me, gently and steadily, until he didn't know how to let me go. They said he'll never stay. Yet, here he is. I said my heart will never break. Yet, here I am. My name is Alison Lewis, and all I want is to start over. #thewattys2021 Shortlist and #FEATURED on Wattpad Chicklit, New Adult, Romance and Psychological Novel #official reading lists.Concluída
