"You can sing a Lovely Melody,
But is music your only remedy?"

Every person has their own set of problems. However, we may have different coping methods and mechanisms.

Music, singing in particular, was Chantelle Melody's escape. It was in her blood, or she would say, the cold blood which her parents gave her. It never failed to lift her spirits when she was down, or when she needed a way to pursue her education without exhausting her funds.

Her passion and natural talent for singing had gotten her a scholarship at a music academy, and she was to attend as a prodigy, two years ahead of her age. Chantelle was a fifteen year old in a sea of students who were seventeen years of age on average, and she feared that she would stick out like a sore thumb in the crowd.

Chantelle was fortunate, however, to have meet a lovely bunch of people. Edward Stone, who was her table partner. Victoria Amethyst, who had asked her to join her in doing a group project. Julian Asher, who had only met Chantelle through his other two friends, but welcomed Chantelle with open arms and a bright smile.

Life is not a bed of roses.

But it doesn't mean life can't be lovely.
