Inching closer to me, he whispered my name once again. "Nora."

All I could see was Axel's lips nearing mine with every passing second. Gulping at the building intensity between the two of us, I moved back slowly with an attempt to meet his eyes. Axel, however, had other plans when he turned his body towards me, caging me in place with one arm beside my head. His warm breath fanned across my neck as his lips lingered closer to my ear away from my lips.

"Your ice cream is melting, No-Ra. We wouldn't want you dirty now, would we?" His voice came out rasped.

Waking up in a beach-alone and cold with all your memories gone wouldn't be counted as a typical day in the life but to Her it is. It's more than the memory impairment does she have to deal with in order to resolve it all.

Buckle up, for, it's gonna be one hell of an Amnesiac ride.

Whispers of Passion [REVISING] by n0tte_n3ra

As he leaned in closer, I could feel the warmth of his breath on my face and his tempting lips mere inches away from mine. Our eyes locked onto each other, unable to look away as the tension between us grew stronger. We both knew what was about to happen, and the anticipation was almost unbearable. His tone was low and intimate, "Ana, there were times I couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness. It wasn't just missing an old friend; it was missing you. I didn't realize how much you truly meant to me until you were no longer around. Life felt duller without you." His lips brushed against mine in a kiss that felt both familiar and the appeal of an uncertain future. The world around us disappeared, leaving only the heartbeat of a moment that whispered of what could be. His lips were a perfect combination of softness and a hint of rough passion. His muscular arm encircled my waist, pulling me into his lap. Our lips moved together as if they were made for each other. Dante's warmth, coupled with the musky undertones of his cologne, enveloped my senses. A surge of desire awakened a long-forgotten greed, a craving I hadn't felt in years. Every subtle collision of our chests sent a shiver through me. Beneath the fabric of my shirt, my nipples hardened under my shirt. Each brush of his lips ignited a cascade of tingles, electrifying sensations that traveled every inch of my body. Stifling a moan became a battle against the ripples of pleasure he effortlessly stirred within me. As we pulled away, I met Dante's eyes, his eyes held a depth of longing, a silent plea for more. I only could hope that the same didn't show within mine. The line between friendship and something more had blurred. Our eyes met in a shared acknowledgment. Emotions of embarrassment and guilt collided within me, an internal lecture echoing amidst the tense air. "Dante," I began, my voice a whisper, "You need to take me home." #1 in possessive 6/16/24

~This book is currently finished but is ongoing for editing and changes~ I continue to look at him and his dark, blue eyes were burning through me, maintaining contact with mine as they didn't dare move away. He sure knows how to hold contact. My body was burning, every inch of it, I could feel it. It was getting way too warm in here. This man was making me feel things I didn't even know that was capable. I needed him. I certainly wanted him. I watched his gaze move down onto my lips as he pulls his bottom lip between his teeth. I didn't even notice how close he was to me until he stepped forward, closing the gap between us. I'm also baring in mind that my brother and his friends are literally right next door and here we are, being this extremely close to each other. That's what makes this even more nerve racking. One hand was holding my hip and his other hand was secured on my thigh, preventing me from falling down from the counter, his nose beginning to lightly touch the tip of mine as he lowered his forehead closer to me. The low part of my belly was aching him. I wanted him to do something. To fulfil my needs. I don't know where the hell the courage came from as the next two words fell out of me. "Kiss me." *** Aurora Rianne. A girl with painful memories from a troubled past that she does not like to be reminded of. Between Heartbeats

24 parts Complete Mature

"Aiden, is it true?" My voice trembled as I searched his cold, distant gaze, feeling the ground shift beneath me. Tears blurred my vision, but I fought to focus, desperate for him to deny the accusations. I needed him to assure me that the man I had loved since college had not betrayed me. I wiped my cheeks and grasped his hands, the warmth of our shared moments now a painful memory. "Please, Aiden... say something." For a heartbeat, silence enveloped us, thick and suffocating. Then, his voice sliced through the stillness, sharp and devoid of emotion. "Isla, I'm sorry. But what you've heard... it's true." Time seemed to freeze as disbelief crashed over me like a tidal wave. His words lingered in the air, cold and final, as I searched his eyes for the warmth that once danced there. But all I found was emptiness. Where had the man I loved gone? How had everything we built vanished in an instant?
