The theme is worn. But throw some smol gay rocks into the mix and it gets a little interesting. Meet Ruby, the Cinderella. She's fairly optimistic about life despite the fact she's a slave to her stepfather and his sons. Meet Sapphire, the Prince Charming. Despite the queen's attempts to find her a husband, nothing works for some reason *cough* GAY *cough*. The two never would've met if it hadn't been for a twist of fate- a ball held by the queen for unmarried youth of the kingdom to try to find a mate, but the real intention is to find a suitable husband for Sapphire. Star Sapphire is the only sapphire of her kind. Her ranking is higher than an Agate! All star gems are second to the Diamonds. But each of them still had a Diamond they were made for. Star Sapphire was made for Pink Diamond. She was made on Homeworld and was always treated like a superior. She was very loyal to Pink Diamond and the other Diamonds. She had future vision that was 99% correct! She also had fire and ice powers. (Like Todoroki from BNHA) And her weapon was a bow. Like Opals. She knew about Rose Quartz but never questioned her. She always saw Rose doing her work when she came by, so she didn't question it. She didn't look into the future to find out about her Diamonds shattering. She never knew until.. One day, Sapphire was walking up to her Diamonds palanquin when she saw.. The Rose Quartz. She drew her rebel blade and... *POOF* Her gem was no longer there... there were pieces of her where she had dissipated her form. She stared at Rose in shock. She didn't really hate Rose but she dislikes her for now. She didn't REALLY agree with her Diamond but.. That doesn't mean she deserved to be shattered! Once the Diamonds directed there attack... and Star ran as fast as she could to one of the Kindergarden holes and hid. But someone didn't make it.... Her friend.. Star Ruby. Something Entirely New (Rupphire)
Sapphire is just the average girl at school with a backstory she likes to keep secret. Life is routine for her until she meets Ruby. The popular baseball jock whom everyone loves. Ruby's life can get pretty exciting but nothing compares to the moment she met her Sapphire. But will Ruby's own secrets put them in danger? Btw I have my own unique take for how I'd see each of these characters in this story's universe. If you don't like it that's okay but I won't be changing my concept.
