"Your heart," he said quietly, touching your chin gracefully, "Is a broken compass. It's supposed to point North, but it doesn't... It points to me."

❧

It was only meant to be training, and simply for your unpredictable magic at that. You his pupil, he your teacher. Once you were satisfied with the control you had over that magic - and yourself - you would part ways. Your deal with Rumplestiltskin would be complete.

You never expected to fall in love with him.

As we go through life, we meet people who deeply touch our hearts and change us in meaningful ways. They leave lasting marks on our souls, transforming who we are. The footprints they leave behind guide us towards growth, ensuring we can never retrace our steps to the person we once were. And then, there was him. We found each other at the precise moment when our souls were ready to collide. Love enveloped us, and in his arms, I discovered a deep sense of belonging. Everything felt right, as if the universe had conspired to bring us together. But life has a way of unraveling even the most beautiful stories. In a cruel twist of fate, the ground beneath us began to crumble. The very thing that had given us hope and joy now carried the weight of our lives, feelings, and emotions, threatening to snatch them all away. The perfect illusion shattered, leaving behind broken fragments of what once was. He is the one who taught me how to love. But as I stand here engulfed in his absence, I realize he forgot to teach me the most crucial lesson of all-how to let go. The pain of holding onto his memory is unbearable, yet I would endure it all, for it's a bittersweet reminder of the love we shared. I'd trade my everything for just one more moment with him, for even a fleeting moment holds more joy than a lifetime without knowing him. ❁❁❁ This is Book 3 of my Botanical Novel Series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone book. The Woodsman and The Faery

13 parts Complete

"Why won't you let me go? I am not yours to keep, and never will be." Those words coming from her pouty lips stung his chest, but it did not waver in his determination. He pulled her wrist, causing her to fall in his embrace and he whispered in her ear softly. "No matter what you are or who you are, I will not let you leave my sight, not even for one second! Your tricks might work with other people, but not me." The tension between them got ten times worse when he felt her shiver underneath his body. Spending most of his life as a woodcutter to make ends meet for his family, Christopher did not expect to be knocking down a faery house in his lifetime since they were supposed to be a myth. The faery isn't too happy about her house being gone, now that her house is in pieces, Christopher has to give her a home until he can find her a new one, where no one will cut it down like he did.
