StonePaw is a young apprentice of MountainClan. His mother RockHeart and his sister MossKit live near a sharp curve in the mountain a bigger den then the others. That's because their father is the clan leader MountainStar. When StonePaw goes on patrol with his mentor HawkTail and his friend EaglePaw and her mentor JadeClaw (Jade Cliffs?) they come across a orange and white she cat. Her ear was torn off and one of her eyes was to. On her back was two kits one was ginger with white paws and the other was pure white. Before the mentors could chase the cats away the apprentices ran over. Who was the she cat why was she sad what was she running from only the apprentices will now so read the book!
