In the kingdom of Belgavin, when a child turns 15 they are given a trade by the towns current Mage. Your trade can differ from something like bard to something like mason, but one day, one boy is given a trade that hasn't been practiced in a long time, a Dragon Knight, created to extinguish the race if dragons, but dragons haven't been seen for thousands oy years, so why was he called to it now?

Children would spend days on end studying just in the hopes that they would get accepted to the Rider School, and those who did get accepted left their homes like kings, followed with respect and well wishes. It had been years since a dragon rider had been accepted in the Rider School from my town, which was understandable since we boasted a population of only 100 kids in the acceptable age range. Every year we were visited by the Counselor, the man who decided who would be accepted, and every year at that time our town lit up. Festivities lasted the Counselor's whole stay, with competitions to test children's intelligence, stamina, strength, and looks set up to look like games. Every year my brothers and I would be disappointed by our results, until my 15th year, when everything changed.... Humans and Anthros never knew each other until one day a human visited the anthro kingdom which caused them to mingle. However humans started to act prejudice and skeptical towards them just because they were different and bigger which caused the anthros to get fed up with their discrimination and insults. To avoid any conflict or violence, the two kingdoms built a wall between them to avoid any contact. The separation lasted for years until a five year human male disagreed to his kind that anthros are evil. He decided to run away from his abusive parents that were anthro murderers and crawled through a concealed hole in the wall and wanted to coexist with the different race. There was a legend that there was a magical stone that has very amazing power that any human or anthro that wanted for their wishes but it was really hidden. (Mature content. 18+ only.
