"and what tattoo would you like today?" hummed josh softly, smiling when he noticed the customer, a frail sort of boy, admiring his muscular arm covered with tattoos. the boy was actually sort of cute, which josh rarely saw in men. handsome, often did come to mind, but cute was different altogether.
"i'd like a rose, please."
josh's eyes twinkled amusedly. "i'll be honest, flowers are not my specialty. it may be crappy. sure you don't wanna go to a different parlor?" he asked honestly, voice entertained.
"i'll give you a model," the boy answered, pulling from behind his back a fully blossomed pink rose. it was a perfect rose, frankly, with bright lime colored leaves and subtle thorns.
the boy smiled at josh, as if he knew it was an unrefusable offer, and josh couldn't argue. his blood was rushing with excitment, but if quickly twisted to concern as he grabbed the boy's wrist, lowering his hand; and the rose. the boy looked a him a bit confusedly, and josh sighed before he spoke.
josh shifted uncomfortably as he replied in a tone of curiosity, "where did you happen upon it?"
"i run the flower shop next door."

I look out into the parking lot and squint to make sure I'm not going crazy. Walking up with a bouquet of flowers is Justin. He's wearing a muscle tee, and my eyes settle on the part of his tattoo that's not covered up by the plastic holding the flowers. When he reaches me, I feel my face heat up and before I can say anything, he hands me the yellow roses. "I think we need a do over, and I'm not letting you go. But um...here's to friendship until then. If you'll accept." He looks so flustered and unsure of himself as I eye the flowers but don't take them immediately. Tyler joseph is a quiet 16 year old boy living alone in small apartment. He was homeschooled up until he turned 15 when his family was tragically killed in a car crash while he was attending piano practice. Since then he'd pretty much been living off of welfare and his parents life insurance, getting by penny by penny and barely leaving the small enclosure. He'd become extremely depressed since the accident. His very few friends who he once yearned to see constantly, were barely ever around anymore. And by now he'd quit all schooling and gave up with it all. He was done with this life. Josh dun is a 16 year old boy who'd been living away from home since he was 14 when his parents kicked him out. They didn't have enough money to support him and themselves. But he was just a kid with a dead end minimum wage job. And eventually it wasn't enough. He got fired for showing up late on his fifteenth birthday. With no where else to turn, he went into prostitution. Selling the only thing he had left so he'd have a place to call home. He had hit rock bottom. But still he kept a positive attitude and fought through the negative thoughts and horrible events that clouded his young life. Today was Tyler's birthday and he was annoyed as much as he was surprised to hear his cell phone ring loudly at 12 am beside him on his nightstand.He briskly picked up to hear one of his old friends on the phone and more voices he recognized in the background. He was bombarded by voices all sending the same message: happy birthday, be ready by 6 because we're all coming over. The line went down and Tyler groaned as he showered, got dressed, and then binge watched pretty little liers till there was a knock at the door. He got up and opened it with a slightly annoyed glance as he noticed an unfamiliar face. "Who's that?" he muttered inviting everyone in one by one.
