An Issue of Consequence
Draco has woken up in an alternate universe. Or he has woken up utterly insane. Nothing else can possibly explain why Harry Potter suddenly seems to think he's Draco's boyfriend. *** "Potter leaned in, his face so close Draco could feel the warmth of his skin. "There's nothing you can't tell me," he whispered, his expression soft, his voice intimate, wrapping around Draco like a warm, alluring spell, urging him to give in, to let Potter pull him close so that he could bask in the protection he offered. For a wild, wonderful second it seemed like Draco could really just tell him. Tell him something was wrong, and it wasn't Draco's fault, and maybe Potter would believe him, promise him it was okay, and they'd sort it out without murders or Azkaban. "It's okay," Potter said as though he had read Draco's mind. As though something compelled him to say whatever Draco wanted him to say. "Just tell me, and we'll deal with it." This was too cruel. It wasn't just a random kiss in a cupboard that only served to remind Draco of what he could never have. This was really much worse. This was Potter behaving in a way that Draco rarely dared even to imagine. He'd only resort to it when his need was dire. When his nightmares were too vivid, and the images refused to vanish even after Draco woke up and opened his eyes. In those moments, his mind trusted only Potter. He was the only one who could convince Draco that it was all right, that he was safe now, that the Dark Lord wasn't coming back. Only Potter could save him from nightmares the way he had saved him from flames. Their foreheads were touching. Potter's skin was warm, the scent of his shampoo too delicious for Draco not to breathe it in. Whichever spell Potter was under, it was definitely contagious. "Mr. Malfoy, where are you going? You just woke up from a great fall after all, I'm sure your friends can come here, instead of you going to them." Who was Malfoy? Oh right, it was probably him. A little bit late, he realised that he should have told her about the complete memory loss since he had no idea where he was going to go once he left the hospital-like room. On second thought, maybe making a scene would have actually been a good idea. Well, it was too late to turn back now. "I will just be going out for a little stroll...around. I must admit that I am in dire need of some fresh air. My, how long did you say I was out for again?" He put his hand to his chest like it was an absolute travesty to have not been told. "I-uh...four days, Mr. Malfoy. You were out for four days." "Well then, I shall be going now. Toodaloo!" Madam Pomfrey stood completely frozen for a long moment like this was the exact opposite of what she expected to happen when Draco woke up. "Mr. Malfoy, wait!" The witch eventually called out, but Draco was already out of the door. Draco wakes up in the hospital wing having no idea who he is and how he got there. Turns out he fell 20 feet down the stairs and got his memory wiped. What else could go wrong? Meeting Harry Potter definitely was fun, but can he figure out who obliviated him and get his memories back? Or will he be stuck like this for the rest of his life? It's been 3 years since the war. Draco had spent his days in Malfoy Manor with the haunting past. Lucius and Narcissa were still the same and hadn't changed much. The shock that the Dark Lord died still lingered on, but they were still mean and cold as ever. But things start to get bad, Lucius mysteriously disspears leaving Draco confused, Narcissa spends her time in her room crying and worrying and losing her mind. And Draco, he find someone else for company, he finds...Hermione. Hermione had told her family and friends a huge lie. A lie that she'd moved onto bigger projects and starting a new life over in America in an American Wizarding Organisation. However she really isn't. She is left no-where to go, she ends up on the front door of Malfoy Manor, where Draco takes her in. Things start to happen around the Manor, evil is on the rise and mysterious things start to happen just like Lucius' disspearance. Evil is after them...when I say them..I mean Hermione, and Draco is on her side to save her. They go on near death journeys and fight for survival together. "Finally, leaving, Potter?" Draco sneers, taking another step forward. "Drop it!" says Hermione, also taking a step forward to the eying duo. Draco's gaze turns to Hermione. His sneer got uglier. He starts to walk over to her, his hand reaching in his pocket to take out his wand. He lifted the wand to face the girl, but she already had hers out. Before Draco could yell a spell, Hermione does it for him. "Depulso!" He grunts and stumbles back abruptly. But not just abruptly. He grunts and stumbles back into Harry, the sneer on his face becoming wider but then curious to know who he bumped into. He immediately turned around, and the position they were in made Ron snigger even more. Both of the Slytherin's hands were on the bookshelf on either side of Harry, basically trapping him against it.
