Annabelle Miller was an German-American junior in college that studied Japanese culture and medicine. Her dream was to become a professional doctor in Japan and achieve the success her family failed to provide. She was well mannered and kempt woman with a soft aura and organized life style.

Elias Raven was a Swedish transfer student from a small town in Visby, a warm soul looking to fulfill his dreams of becoming a lawyer. Elias was born "Elsa" Raven but when he turned fifteen, he could no longer hide his true self.  She was a he. Thankfully he was accepted by his parents. Elias moves to Okinawa to study being a lawyer and that's where he's reunited with Annabelle Miller, his former high school friend.
