The Inevitable Fate
After defeating Delphi, Albus and Scorpius are back in Hogwarts, right in the middle of their fifth year. Things are wholly different, now. Scorpius and Rose are dating, walking hand-in-hand in the corridors and Albus cannot help but feel jealous of the two. The sweltering question was: why was he jealous? Some things, however, remained the same. The bullies. The prejudice. The uncertainty. But that wasn't the worst of it. Albus thought he could forget about the horrors of what had happened last year with Delphi, but after a sinister lesson orchestrated by a familiar face, it seems that the past has a firm grip on both Albus and Scorpius. It is up to the two of them to defeat their qualms once and for all: before history repeats itself. *I edited "The Inevitable Fate" to make Albus have brown skin since that's how I have always seen him. :) * *I do NOT support transphobic J.K. James reached out and took the album from his brother's desperate hands and opened it, looking at the photos of the two of them together. "You both look so happy, " James observed. A dancing pair of fluttery pink fairy wings. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Lily Luna Potter, because she never took them off. An angel of innocence, she pranced around Hogwarts as if everyone loved her, making good marks and smiling at everyone she saw. It was all a mask, of course, and it chafed at her, making her feel pressured and overly bubbly, like a bottle of butterbeer being shaken. It was bound to wear thin someday and peel off, this mask of hers, she reasoned. Why not now? A stack of books. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Scorpius Malfoy, because he was never seen without one- often his thin face would be completely hidden by thick, musty old tomes.
