How I became the Hero of humanity even though i was trying to destroy it

Do you wear a mask? Don't worry about using it to answer this question, about everyone does. It's not a matter of who the person is but rather what they're trying to hide. I wear one eventually; in a more literal sense than most people but it's still for the same reasons. It's all to keep up appearances. We want to be liked, to be respected, and to be loved. That's why everyone does it after all, everyone want's someone to love them.

As i sat alone in my room as i'd done for most of my thinking life i pondered to myself: How can I, a horrible monster (in everyone else's eyes at least) intent on eradicating civilization and bringing destruction to the world as humans know it, with my giant, mutilated, half-rotten, rat-man self make a mask to get people to like me? I can't just act different, it's not my personality that's the problem.
Quickly i came to the conclusion that for ugly people like my a physical mask was the way to go. A physical mask, I resolved to myself, that i would use to further the goals of my older brother Orichalcum, who was intent on eradicating civilization and bringing destruction to the world as humans know it. Anyway, this is my story: How I became the hero of humanity with my friends even though i was trying to help destroy it.
