The first generation of Super Duplex Stainless Steels was developed over 70 years ago in Sweden. They were used in the sulfite paper industry. These Super Duplex Stainless Steels were originally created to fight the problems that were caused by chloride bearing cooling waters and other aggressive chemical process fluids. Super Duplex Pipe Fitting contain high levels of chromium which provide outstanding resistance to acids, acid chlorides, and caustic solutions. Super Duplex 2507 Pipe Fittings guarantee higher resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking in comparison with conventional stainless steels.
