"Don't be so sure." she answered and moved to sit on a wooden chair. "I admire your disloyalty to your father and to be honest, he's a stupid bastard but let's talk business now."
"What do you want?" he asked staring deep into her jade eyes.
"I don't just want you to give my people liberty over their land, oh no, I want more."
"Which is?"
"I want my land back." she says and he blinks
"That would be very difficult..."
"Its either I get my land back or your entire family pays the price for it, don't forget I still want the head of your father."

The vampires took everything away from the humans, their land, their freedom but most especially their lives. They ruled over them and treated them like slaves, imprisoning them under tight security that was impossible to get through until one person proved otherwise.

"Cora..." I say with an annoyed tone. I throw her arms off my waist, and grab a hold of Claire's hand. She gives Claire a distasteful look then looks at me. "Couldn't you find a better date?" I walk to her, letting go of Claire's hand and I close the distance between Cora and I. I grab a hold of her arm and feel the bones crush underneath my hand. I feel Claire grab a hold of my arm, but I don't respond to her. "If you ever talk about my date like she isn't in the room, or even if you say what you said again, I will snap your neck. Now, run along." I say letting go of her arm. She gives me a look of hatred then scurries away. I find Claire's body with one of my hands and I feel her engulf me with her arms.
