A long time ago, shortly before the Gods descended upon the lower world, Zeus spoke with a fellow deity. "Soon the divine will abdicate their place in heaven; they strive for entertainment in the lower world. However, I must demand that you remain here." The deity was confused, Zeus quickly caught onto his complicated expression. "Your divine power is far too great. Even if we were to seal it, you would likely become a tragedy to the beings of the lower world." Zeus expanded, understanding his explanation the deity hesitantly accepted the old God's demands. Soon after this conversation, the gods descended, The Deity was left trapped in an empty husk of the once bustling heaven. For a millennia the god was isolated and trained in completed solitude... each and everyday he practiced completely suppressing his divinity within his body. The process was grueling. The potent energy he locked within himself eventually began to tear him apart from the inside. In the end, the pain was only a small price to pay... If his torture succeseeded his divinity would be completely cotained and then he could finish step foot into the lower world without causing a tragedy. However... one day a man with horns appears in the dumpster outside her apartment complex, she thought he may have been a regular cosplayer just trying to get by... until she noticed his wounds and how fatal they were, he was undoubtedly swaying between life and death. Something within her had pushed aside her usual uncaring self and made her decide to help the man. Yet, she was too naive to realize how bad her situation became... Dazod is the Demon Prince (some already given the title "demon lord") has learned to not trust humans, but to kill them with no mercy, and not just humans, any species as well. However, when he travels to the human world one night he is chased and ends up wavering between life and death! Yet, he somehow survives with the help of a young human girl with golden eyes. Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first. 18+ Edited and Completed When Mira bumps into a man in the club, dressed in wings, she thought "What kind of an inconsiderate idiot wears wings to the club". Its only until she touches the wings that she realises that they are very much real. Within an instant, Mira's life is turned upside down. Knowing now that angels and demons are real and have been living amongst humans on earth for decades, she decides she needs to learn more about them and about the sight that she was gifted by this mysterious angel, Jenziel. One other thing bothered Mira. Where were the other women with the sight and why was she the only one to be gifted the sight? Did it have something to do with the broody, burly, yet strikingly handsome fallen angel who undoubtedly looked like he was dying to kill her? With Lucifer's demons hunting her down, time is running out for Mira. If Lucifer get his hands on her, he will use her to spawn more advanced demons. Can the fallen keep her and the rest of the mortals safe? Excerpt: "So, are you planning on telling me what happened in the city with the demons, or do I have to tempt Kazier into a make out session to get some answers?". Azriel's eyes dropped to where my fingers were gripping onto and slowly, he snaked his vision up to me. I watched him for a few seconds until he seemed to have snapped out of his thoughts. "You will do no such thing, you hear me? You will not try to entice Kazier". I shivered when he spoke, his breath tickling my face.
