Who only hours later of this discovery proposes to her. Life couldn't have going better until she realizes she loves him but that she isn't ready for commitment,at least not yet. When she tells Asher how she feels about the engagement they call it all off. Serenity spends the next few years of her life trying to figure out true happiness without someone to hold her hand. The real question to ask about now is will she ever find love or will fate bring her and Asher back together.Complete

This story is written to be inserted into the series plus the movie Serenity. I always wanted Jayne to find his perfect someone and I hope anyone reading this will agree that he does. Another hobby she took up was being an artist. One day she meets Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who lives in Central City who ends up going back after a case he helped Team Arrow at. A few months after Barry's visit, Serenity gets a job as a sketch artist for the Central City Police Department. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has.
