Natasha Volkov is a twenty-five year old American-born Russian who didn't know what to think when her parents told her they were moving. She had grown accustomed to her life in America, but since her parents won the lottery, there wasn't much she could say about it. 
  
They settle in a small town in rural England. The town seems normal, but what greatly unnerves her are the "DO NOT ENTER" signs nailed onto the trees at the entrance of the woods and a giant ominous Gothic styled castle that seemed to watch over the town at the outskirts. 
  
But when it comes time for her to finally mingle with the rest of the society, she only asked for a friend. However, she gains more - much more - than she bargained for.
