Nicole "Nicky" Mary Campbell is the product of a drunken one-night stand between Sarah Campbell, the baby sister of Mary Winchester, and an unknown supernatural creature. Whatever Nicky is, she attracts supernatural creatures of the bad variety. When her mom is killed by a demon when she's 10, she's sent off to live with her closest of kin, one Sam Winchester who lives in Stanford. Sam's older brother, Dean, shows up, saying something about his and Sam's dad missing. Nicky must go with them to help find her uncle, all while hiding the fact that she talked to the demon and he's haunting her nightmares.
