Kaia didn't really care that she was in jail. It wasn't the first time, and almost certainly wouldn't be the last. The confines of the metal bars were the closest thing she had to a home. After a rather shaky past, she lives out her life in the local prison cells or (if she was lucky) crashing on her mate's couch.

But when she meets someone new, could they change her mind about all of it?
