Stinger still believes that the freedom fighters are together. She just thinks they have to find a new home. The Fire Nation is on their tails though and there is no where to go except for the great cities. 

Only in Omashu and Ba Sing Se they will be safe but the journey there is not so safe.

Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. 100 years passed, and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar: an Airbender named Aang, along with his two best friends: a half-phoenix Firebender named Jenaine, and an Airbender named Na li, who is also the legendary Demi Dragon. And although Aang’s Airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he’s ready to save anyone. (aang runs into statue on air-scooter) But I believe, Aang can save the world.
