Ashley is in and out of jail, and although she has a family, she doesn't really know them. She knows a few people, and one of them is Julia. Her best friend for as long as Ashley can remember. Ashley has to deal with reality, and who is really there to help her, or harm her in ways that she never understood was possible. (My inspiration for this book is Sarah Dessen who is amazing)

"Here's a thing about curiosity; it doesn't let you sleep at night! After meeting that unknown stranger on the street, my mind kept on thinking about him while I walked slowly to my house. I couldn't understand whether he wanted my help or wanted to help me? " ******** Detective Allison is a mediocre detective, questioning her own life choices when an extraordinary case lands her into a web spun with lies and deceit leading her to an extremely private and anonymous person Matt Jones who readily offers his services to her. But Matt never reveals anything to her making her more and more intrigued in his private character. But as they move on solving cases together, Allison is soon going to learn that her twisted ties with Matt Jones are deeper and have an explicit role in her vague story.
