It's been twelve months, Will thought. Twelve months since she disappeared... maybe... maybe I should give up?
Yes, Tug replied, this is getting unhealthy... speaking  off, can I have an apple?

Twelve months after Alyss Mainwarring, Will Treaty's wife, disappeared, Will is still determined to find her. So far, he didn't have any luck. He knows all his friends have given up on hope that she's still alive. But not Will. It's driving him mad, quite literally. Yet, when he comes home, for his monthly check-up with Halt, he finds something that changes everything.



 
Yes, you're allowed to hate this, and me, because I know it sucks, and I know I have no heart, and I know I can't get the characters right. All the characters and places belong to John Flanagan, the amazing writer of several amazing series, and if I make something or someone up, I'll let you know.



Oh, btw, as the title says, this is AU, and also, spoilers for the whole RA series because right now I can't think of the exact books... Just go read the series, Will (xD) ya?
