Lucas Walls has been living in the same room his whole life, and his tendencies to become violent towards the staff at Emerald Stone Hospital are not going to get him out of the facility anytime soon. Unless he wants to spend the rest of his life dealing with nurses who tell him to keep himself under control, he'll have to find a way to get out. His plans to get out are thrown off track when he meets Ezra Forester, who befriends Lucas and becomes the only person Lucas has ever opened up to.
