~~~~~~~~~~~~~Young Silven Wellson loved to sing. But his world was turned upside down when the accident struck. Every since refuses to speak let alone sing unless absolutely necessary. Than things start changing around him. Shadows are like whispering figures surrounding him, the wind howls in fear about him. And soon Ven himself starts changing and he meets some pretty strange people -and things- when he try's to figure out why.
This is an original story. I came up with all of it EXCEPT- The cover photo (that comes curtesy of a Bing search.) Any refrences I make to other franchises (like Harry Potter). And any song I leave for the chapter belong to someone else. Unless I say otherwise these are a solid truthfully mine, as I might share some original songs. If I don't inform you that they belong to me they belong to someone else.

When at last everyone leaves him alone, oh how amazing and wonderful his voice echoes out all along the walls of anywhere he can be alone. His amazing talent, however, one day lures in an audience. Together with his newfound 'friend' sworn to keep his singing secret, they find a way to make Caleb's talent known and help him finally face his demons: attention. ----------------------------------------------------------- This is my first attempt at a short story. ' _______________________________________________________________________________ An ominous presence stirred as the Sun's final rays slipped below the horizon, casting the land into darkness. Shrouded in mystery and danger, a new power emerged with the onset of twilight. A cascade of purple flames erupted, their fiery tongues reaching out hungrily to consume anything in their path. The air crackled with malice, and an aura of trepidation settled upon all who beheld this spectacle. None were spared from its wrath, for the purple flames spared no one. Amidst this chaos, a shadowy figure materialized, her countenance contorted into a sinister smirk. With teeth bared like a predator, the enigmatic being reveled in her newfound dominance. Her name was whispered in fear and awe-The Shadow. She possessed an arsenal of lethal weapons, her claws gleaming ominously in the dim light. Fear was foreign to her, for she embraced the darkness that enveloped her. Beware, for the arrival of the Night loomed ominously, signaling the demise of the radiant Sun. The world was thrust into an eternal night, where the moon's pale glow held sway. It was a time of survival, a battle for existence against the encroaching darkness. Those who dared to face the challenge were urged to be resilient and determined. The Sunre, a chosen few who dared to resist the Night's dominion, were called upon to stand firm against the relentless onslaught. "I see the world and it seems like I see it so differently than most other people. It makes me really angry most of the time. Especially since no one ever listens to me or what I've got to say. I try to express myself in so many different ways and no one sees it. When I sing a song people will only care about how the music sounds or how much I swore. If I paint, people will see the picture but not the meaning. It seems so obvious to me but everyone just seems to... close their eyes. Or at least shut off their brain. As if I see things they don't. But when they don't listen, how can I communicate that to them? It's so frustrating." Allie is a high school student and has big plans to make the world a better place. But her own head is pitting against her, throwing rocks in her path on a daily basis. Everything seems to be great for a while but what happens when her world suddenly comes crashing down around her? Can she ever recover? A coming-of-age story that deals with mental ilnesses, grief, first loves and family, briefly taps into the subject of religion and will likely enrapture you. Trigger warning: mental illnesses, self harm, death, dealing with grief, mentions of guns and gun control, mentions of cults, mentions of homophobia, dissociation. Or more like appealed to the attractive black haired, green eyed boy. She's never been the one to want to have a relationship. Is now the time? Xavier Witts, a 18 year old boy hiding a nothing more than a couple lies... or so he says. Xavier never wanted to get attached to someone he could lose. He never to wanted to go through that again. But what happens when suddenly that person fights against his measures of protection? What happens when that person is willing to risk their life just to be with him? He's the definition of the boy she tried to stay away from. The epitome of harsh rumors and hopeless fantasies. The source of lies and blame. He's analyzed, misunderstood, and utterly mysterious. And he may be the one to find her voice. When they meet, she gets accustomed to his arrogance and he gets accustomed to her silence.
