"Bliss, we're all in desperate need of your presence. The kingdom of Sorceria is crumbling, and Sorceria is but a mere speck of dust without magic. I know how miserable you must feel after accidentally casting a spell over it, but now the people of the kingdom desperately need you. Felicity is conquering Sorceria," explained Duke, staring directly into her light grey eyes. Bliss pulled away from his gaze as she whispered, "Take him away."
The guards practically dragged Duke away. "Wait, Bliss! Please... Just let me explain why I did what I did earlier. Bliss... Bliss!" he screamed. Bliss' heart ached as she fought back the urge to scream at the guards to release him, although she had been the one who ordered them to take him away, and plant a million kisses on his soft pink lips.
"Duke," she said his name in a small, shaky voice, tasting his name on her tongue. She loved him, but she was hurt. The pain he had thrown at her heart was unbearable. It was always the heart. The boys always aimed for the heart.
