The Knight of Calavaskar

24 parts Complete Mature

John is experiencing a crisis of faith. After serving under King Wenceslas as a knight during the great purges, John cannot look beyond the death and destruction he has played a part in. Rumors circulate that within the Tomb of Saint Peter are fantastic relics that might give John the peace he requires. A missive is sent out to a random set of adventurers, thieves, and murderers to aid the knight in uncovering proof of the existence of God. But John's path towards enlightenment is disrupted when he finds the Orb of Memory, a device that allows the knight to see his own past and the memories of those in his party. Patterns appear that lead John to believe that someone is trying to speak to him within the dream world. By connecting these threads, revelations are revealed, including the true aim of the Magi death-cult and the future endeavor of King Wencelas to colonize the new world. John will come to the realization that his journey into the Tomb of Saint Peter was not only pre-ordained, but necessary for the survival of humanity. It will be his actions and the actions of the members of his party which will reveal the ultimate fate of existence itself, and what might lay beyond.
