This is the story of 5 friends, each born and raised mainers (or MAINiacs as they like to say ) going through everyday life and learning more about each other as well as themselves.
The fisherman's son, Keith, wants nothing more than to leave the state and see what the world has to offer, but due to his fathers health, has no choice but to stay and work as a fisherman for his dad's company.
The energetic entrepreneur, Liam, who has seen the world and done it all, wants to invent new products to help improve day to day life for the people in his community,
Sam, know as S², struggling with self-identity and dreams about things that are too far out of his reach,
Will, a young engineer who works at a small computer company,
and lastly Brandon, who doesn't know what he wants to do but knows what he wants, and the only thing he wants is to enjoy life together with his friends in Maine, the only place where he truly feels at home.
