Author's Note: The Evasion is a Psychological Thriller with a touch of romance. This is the original version of my book, which was drafted in May 2020 and published on 30 June 2020 under the same title on Amazon Kindle. Due to certain reasons, I scrapped the original version (removing the romantic part) and went with a different ending. The plot and the story are the same, just the storytelling and ending were different. While narrating the backstory of this book to a co-ashaangian, the idea of making the original version as an ashaangi fanfic popped into my mind.
When I initially drafted this story last year, and when I read it with imaginary characters, it felt so normal. But after uploading it as a fanfic and reading it, imagining Ashaangi as the main lead, this book gave me a completely different vibe, and I was surprised by myself, how certain things synced in this story even before they met.
