Ashley Macon, an awkward boy, has always struggled to fit in at school in his small  Alabama town. He becomes enamored with Miss Beverly Parker and her new dance studio, and it seems as if he has finally found a place where he can be himself. But when a new face arrives in town Ashley's sense of self begins to unravel. He has to decide whether or not being popular is worth giving up the one thing that brings him joy. 

Set in Alabama during the 1980's (one of the most iconic dance movie eras). This story will contain language and some subtle homosexual themes.All Rights Reserved
