Lightning is beautiful. It's impressive, spectacular, and a little bit dangerous. That was what we were focussing on. Its beauty, the edge of being near lightning. It makes your heart beat just a little bit harder, you get a certain thrill out of lightning. It was the perfect name for our journey, our adventure. We were as exciting as lightning, and so were our lives now. There was just one problem. The more we admired lightning, the closer we got to it, and the more dangerous it became. We forgot lightning is made from good and bad, warmth and cold. We kept focussing on the good side, the warmth of lightning, and we completely forgot about the bad side. We forgot the danger of lightning. We didn't realise how life-threatening the situation was until she came into our lives. She was just like lightning and I came too close.
