"Haven't we met before?" Dylan Hames asks as I attempt to not lean in. His green eyes were sparkling with remembrance.
"I don't think so." I hope he doesn't recognize me from the week before. "My boyfriend will be back any moment, and I don't want to get in trouble." The ice rink is dimly lit; the stars and moon act as Christmas lights, and 'Coming Home' by Trey Songz is playing in the background.
"You remind me of a girl I met at the ball. You look just like her, and I want to see if you dance like her. She was like no other," he says with nostalgia. "And I'm sure he won't mind. Please, spare a few minutes." I don't have time to answer, for he pulls me to the ice rink, and the two become one. He moves with grace, and he twirls me around, making my hair flow. He never takes his eyes off of me. After another twirl, he goes to the rim of rink, and pulls me close. His eyes stare into mine. They remind me of grass in the spring. He bites his lip. He caresses my cheek, sending shivers down my spine, and takes hold of my hands. He looks at my lips, and slowly, he begins to close the space between us. Everything around us turned to stars and nebulas. His lips are The Sun, and mine are a comet going straight to it. His lips are just millimeters away from mine. Then, the space closes between us.
