The Status Change

Kyah doesn't realize it, but her life is about to change.She has just started her freshman year in high school. She developes a romantic relationship with her bestfriend, SJ. SJ becomes a member of one of the toughest gangs in the city. His life is on the line and Kyah loves him dearly. Then, SJ becomes so busy, he has no time for Kyah. When SJ finally turned around and saw me, he kind of rushed them off. When they walked past me and Gabby, they smelled like pure weed.
"SJ, why was you talking to them?" I asked.
Aw, nothin, they just stay on my street" he said. That sounded real suspicious.

I couldn't believe I was on a DATE with a junior, who chased after ME. Suddenly, the only thing that could possibly ruin the moment did happen. I slipped tripping over my untied shoe which I did not notice. I fell hard too. My butt was throbbing with pain. I couldn't even get myself up and now everyone was looking at me. EVERYONE.
