Trina Jacobs battles everyday life of a highschooler, good grades, trying meet very high expectations, relationships, social life, all of that on top of her hectic familial problems. Watching over herself and her younger fraternal twin siblings, Simon and Ronnie, plus planning for her soon to be adult life is all she worries about. Until she gets distracted. Only child Ricky Johnson's popularity makes him pretend to be something he's not, all he wanted to do was play football and do good in school so he'd be prepared for the future. All of a sudden Ricky is confronted in a situation that changes his life forever. Passing in school is no longer a top priority, living is. He's looking for motivation.
