Thanks to the Global Network, and the new brain-implanted Network chips, all of the world is connected like never before, 24/7. And Jora Shaw has never felt more lost within it.

When an accident she can't remember leaves Jora teetering between life and death, trapped in her own head with only her chip's humourless Aritifical Intelligence for company, Jora risks a journey into her own memories to try to understand not only how she came to be at the end of her life, but also where exactly she fits in this brave new world when she's missing a piece of herself that modern bio engineering shouldn't have allowed her to be missing.
