Girl Next Door (Pokemon fanfic)(GirlxGirl)

Kyoko was always so bright, and both meanings of the word: happy and smart. She wasn't necessarily always kind, but she could never turn anyone down. She was always dressed to impress, and always had a big, bright smile on her face, a laugh she hated always on her lips. She wasn't attractive, she thought, although others always said she was. Long, straight, platinum blonde hair and lime green eyes paired with a pale complexion made up her features, and she was skinny as a twig and short as a sapling.

Toshi, however, was quite near the opposite. She was just as skinny, possibly weighing less, but was a foot taller than Kyoto at least. Curly, short brown hair that was almost black, dark amber eyes, and eternally tan skin make up her. She's a tomboy at heart and has no problem being called a guy. She was always scary to others, though, and she knew it. That's why Kyoko surprised her so much, at first.

How they met, you ask? At an Eevee breeder in the neighborhood, when they went to get their Pokemon partners for life. And Kyoko was sure, that day, that their friendship would last forever.

They would have more than friendship, in the end, though. And so, this is the story of two girls finding their place in life, surviving what's thrown at them, and in the end, finding support and sanity in their other.
