When Grey wakes up and goes to school one Monday, he expects nothing out of the ordinary. But when he gets to school, its anything but ordinary. Carter Daniels, some girl at his school commit suicide.

Later that night, in a dream he is visited by Death. Death gives him a test; if he can save Carter from killing herself, he will live too, if he can't Death gets his soul. Time is reversed exactly one month before her attempt, and the clock keeps ticking for both his life and her.
