Shadowhunters, half angel, half human, very fictional characters from her aunt's imagination, take her in as the Magister hunts for Tessa Gray, another mysterious arrival for the Nephilim. Not only does the story not follow its written path, but Evan finds herself thrown into the middle of the magic and wonder as she finds that she must fight for her own life now as well.
